We are excited to announce that EO Knoxville is hosting Sejal Lakhani-Bhatt, 2020 Stevie Winner for Female Executive of the Year. Sejal will speak on “Embracing Vulnerability as a Strength” on September 30 at 4:30pm.
Sejal began her career working for major global banking institutions, but she left the corporate world behind in 2012 to join her husband in growing his managed IT startup, TechWerxe. They built a thriving business together, but when her husband passed away from a heart attack in 2019, Sejal’s world spun out of control. For the first time in her life, Sejal was left in charge of everything – personally and professionally.
While trying to help her children cope with their grief and keep her business moving forward, Sejal discovered her husband had a problem that resulted in financial hardships for her family and their business. In the months after her husband’s death, Sejal learned valuable lessons that she hopes will help others make small life changes that can have a big impact. Her journey that led her to embrace vulnerability as a strength is eye-opening and inspiring.
